Faerie sorceress, regarded as one of the most powerful magic users in current times. Going slowly insane and exhibits somewhat deranged behaviour at times. However in general a kind person, but looks out for herself first.
Head of the Paleshift order, human wizard dedicated to uncovering forgotten history. Incredibly determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, allowing this obsession to take over his every waking moment.
Elvish wizard from ancient times, considered the most powerful magic user to have ever lived. Fell sometime before the formation of the Empire.
Dwarven mage from ancient times, powerful enough to defeat Mertheim on the battlefield. Died under mysterious circumstances following victory against the Elves.
Goblin warrior, famous for wielding the armour Spellbreaker, making him almost impervious to magic. Fell sometime before the formation of the Empire.
Human sorcerer, responsible for setting up the alliance with Goblins which ultimately won the war in ancient times and resulted in the formation of the Empire.
Faerie wizard, queen of the faerie during the time of the war. Was largely responsible for the faerie's decision for isolation and reluctance to engage with other races.
Elvish wizard, demure and wise. Responsible for teaching new mages the ropes.

Djinn spectre, lord of the Djinns and the most powerful being in Avaris.
Human wizard, currently serving on the Supreme Council.
Human and son of the head of Southwind Citadel.
Dwarf currently serving on the Supreme Council.
Goblin warrior, head of the seperatist rebellion. Quite similar to Furalmer's character despite their opposing ideals. Believes the Empire has outlived it's usefulness and fragmenting the continent would lead to a more peaceful existence.
Sultan of the cursed city of Shekara.
Dwarven researcher, in the Paleshift order.
Human currently serving on the Supreme Council, as the Chancellor. While externally regarded as one fanatically tied to the Empire, he is more of a pragmatist, but sees the Empire as the best hope for the continent.
